 Rating:  - poor designmy sons have all the toys in this range, and they are mostly very well designed and made. Unfortunately Lofty is very poorly put together. We've had two of these now - the first one broke within a couple of weeks, the second one within half an hour! The hubs that attach the wheels to the axles are very weak, and with even the slightest pressure and the wheels come off. And that's that. A real shame - how are we supposed to complete the set!? Rating:  - Great funI agree the durability of this range could be better, but for the enjoyment factor my son takes his everywhere with him. never had a toy he has enjoyed so much. p.s. im on my second scoop. I have now purchased 2 Lofties and in both cases, the wheels have come off (literally) within a few weeks. Rating: - Lofty can't fix it!I've bought most of the take along bob the builder range. Given the fact that they are diecast toys I would have expected them to have lasted longer. I think that they are poorly made. Of the six that I have bought three have broken. Either wheels have come off in Lofty's case. Scoop's roof came off and Roley's wheel has come off. This is only after a short space of time (about 6 weeks) so I would have expected alot more durability. |
