 Rating:  - AMAZING CONSOLEI have just bought one of these from amazon, arrived in PERFECT condition which is great, because ive got it as a spare/collectors item!!! These will soon stop being made They will then be worth money! Buy 1 whilst you still can! Rating: - My favorite console of all time.Next to the xbox 360, this console stands tall in reliability. Thought Amazon sent me a book on it's arrival but gratefully delivered a machine that eliminates all the old faults with previous versions. If PS3 emulation remains poorly supported and PS3 library doesn't turn heads, I'll be back at Amazon for another few PS2's Should the PS2 discontinue. No crashes, red lights of death freezes or background hoover suction. Hoo raah ! Always a pleasure to shop through Amazon. Rating: - A Little MiracleI hae just bought this having sold my x box, whilst their will always be comparisons about grpahics etc I never got on very well with the X Box and found the games dull and sometimes hard going. Having seen the huge range of games available for the PS2 and the fact my library hires them I bought this instead. It is tiny, lovely to look at and does exactly what it says. Set up is simple. Games run without problems, there is a huge selection, you can watch DVD's and CDs. Sure there are some grpahical differences but there is really not that much in it. For some other reason I find the controls more comfortable and will upgrade to a wireless controller. I am so pleased with this that I will get a PS3 when they finally become available. A great ... As an upgrade from the original PS2, the difference is amazing and I'm glad I chose this. Actually, I had a PS2 a few years back, but I've tried all the consoles since then, and nothing compared to the fun I got of the PS2. Luckily, I had my very old PSX tucked away somewhere, so I've been using that. And the great thing about this upgrade is that you not only get the enjoyment out of current PS2 titles, but older PSX games as well. Read More: Rating: - Awesome machineI bought my original PS2 years ago and never had a problem with it, then a few weeks ago it started playing EVERYTHING in green, freezing, getting disc read errors, etc. So i went and bought a new Slimline PS2 and thought "WOW!". This thing is so small and looks a lot better than the big bulky PS2 so i can still play my games until i can save money to buy a PS3 when they come out! |
