this game has to be the best FPS avalibe on the PS2 it has everything, the realistic firing, the sound effects, the explosions and best of all you are killing terrorists (i think).it has a wide variety of weapons from the AK47 to the M249 to the granade launcher. this has to be the most realistic and gripping FPS EVER (and i have an xbox 360).. This game is well worth buying if you like war games.
I've always been a big Rambo fan, so this blew my mind!
The fact everything is destructable is something that for some reason had never been attempted before, and WOW it is so much fun haha.
It looks better than any other game ever has on ps2 with the possible exception of Resident Evil 4.
Totally awesome.
The problems are that the levels can become too long(one and a half hours for a level? jeez) but once you're on it you get engrossed so it ain't so bad anyway.
And the game itself seems a little short, mainly because you don't WANT it to end, I think it only has about 6 levels, but like I said they are very long.
If this ever gets a sequel on PS3 ... Read More:

Perfect game if like me you enjoy running around shooting hell out of everything that moves and not having to worry too much about anything else.
Graphics and sound are the best ive seen/heard on any ps2 game and really show what this console can do.
Game is upsettingly short in terms of levels but some levels can take you quite a while to finish. Gameplay doesnt vary a great deal, id have liked a couple of sniper/covert missions but what there is is very good. the only real differences between the difficulty levels seems to be the number of hidden items you have to find which are not really that difficult to find. just be sure youve found them all in each part of the level before you get to the next checkpoint as you ... Can't praise highly enough. I have to agree with some of the other reviews in so far as you cannot save the level in mid play. Some levels are long and progressively more challenging. To get twenty minutes into a level and then die, you are required to start right back at the beginning of the level, which can be frustrating.
BUT THE PLUSSES FAR OUTWEIGH THE NEGATIVES. The gameplay is brilliant. Hiding behind things does not guarantee safety. Grenades, RPG's and heavy amounts of machine gun fire will whittle away concrete, trees etc and dont even think of hiding behind boxes or cars. The supply of guns and ammo are plentiful, as you collect dead bad guys equipment en route.
Very difficult in places but this adds to the ... Read More:

This game looks, sounds and feels incredible. It could've been the best game I have ever played, were it not for the fact that it is sooooooo hard.
Each level is about an hour long, with only two checkpoints. That is to say that, if you are unlucky enough to die right before you reach a checkpoint, you have to re-do 20 minutes worth of the game. In addition to this, each badguy takes a dozen or so bullets to die, and they frequently surround you leading to almost certain death.
Okay, I thought, I'll just play it on easy mode. WRONG! The only difference in the easy mode is that you only have to complete primary objectives. The badguys still take a dozen bullets to the face and they're still just as lethal.
