 Rating:  - Spartan total warrior reviewYea yea, a good game overall but it is so short. really fun with all the gore and special weapon effects but i completed it all in under a day and not even solid playing so cool but short. Rating:  - ABSOLUTELY AMAZINthis is one of the greatest games that i have ever played on. the content is fantastic the graphics are great its just generally excellent, this game is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!! Rating: - spartan total warrior-pretty dam good!This game is soooo cool! The graphics are good and i love the squelching sound when you smush someone with a hammer or slice off their head! It avoids becoming a pointless button basher by having traps, cool bosses and hordes of romans to kill. You can smash almost anyone for any reason, and even shoot your own side with a bow! Definately a must for any fan of the genre or series. Rating:  - A gastranomical disappointmentMany people will disagree with me on this one but i was very disappointed with spartan total warrior. I had high hopes for this game as i was a great fan of the total war series but as i started playing this game i could see that it was not the game for me in the slightest. For starters, the graphics close up especially in the cut scenes are very ugly indeed, all of the characters have very bland expressions and their hands legs arms etc are very blocky and unrealistic, none of the weapons look particularly great either and there is only a small amount of them. For anyone who has played Shogun, Medieval or Rome Total War and thought: "I wonder what it would be like to be one of those soldiers I'm sending to his death"; this is the game for you. It could have so easily just decended into a pointless "hack and slash" adventure game like Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, but it managed to avoid that trap. Instead of wading through leigons of enemies mashing 'a' you need to think carefully and quickly about every move you do. Keep in your ranks to avoid getting hacked to pieces, and keep that shield wall tight. Accidentaly got surrounded? Then knock a few enemies about with your shield to clear a space. ... Read More: |
