 Rating:  - Comparison of 3 portable speakersiStuff Companion Speakers Good points: very, very small & light & have a neat little case if you like that kind of thing. No batteries or power is needed, which makes them very portable. Bad points: poor quality sound and distortion at high volumes. The maximum volume is just enough to be heard in one room, but not if the room is full of people. Also the headphone jack lead is very short. Portable Folding Speakers for Ipods & mp3 players - white = the same as you find on lots of websites. Good points: maximum volume better than iStuff. Not too big. Bad points: heavier than the others because of need for batteries. This is its greatest limitation, I think. Batteries only last about 6 - 8 hours ...
