 Rating:  - Pratically destructibleIt's easy to assemble and certainly seemed like it would be virtually indestructible until the first time we took it out for a test run. The body is mady of a kind of rubbery polystyrene which I think you might have to burn to destroy. The propellers, on the other hand, are made of cheap, fragile plastic that cracked and broke on the third landing (the first two lasting about 5 seconds per flight). I now have a plane shaped piece of junk. Rating: - NEED SPARE PARTS!!!!!!!This is a really neat piece of kit. No mucking around putting it together! - you just take it out of the box, charge it and FLY. It could have been the complete package if you could only get spare parts like wheels and props! Rating:  - Great FunI received my plane for Christmas, but this weekend (9th & 10th Feb) is the first time the weather has been suitable to fly it. My previous RC plane was a PowerZ, which didn't last 2 weekends but this claimed to be indestructable, so I was keen to test it. Unlike my last plane, this has no moveable surfaces, but is controlled by the twin engines. It took about a dozen attempts to get used to it, but once I found the technique, flying is a doddle. My plane has a tendancy to veer right, so it requires a bit of left throttle to keep it straight. Read More: Rating:  - Doesn't FlyWhat's good about this remote controlled plane is that recharging only takes about 10 minutes - from the battery powered remote control. Some other r/c planes, cars, and helicopters takes HOURS! However, we can't get our plane to fly - and we've tried countless times. The propellers go round when you hold it, or the plane is on the ground, but when you let go - the propellers stop. Rating: - Avoid this fragile toyMy son tried to fly the plane for the first time today - it failed to lift on a calm dry day and on the second "landing" into soft grass the propeller snapped in two. Unfortunately this plane falls some way short of the description on the box - it doesn't fly and is certainly not indestructible. In my opinion, it's very fragile - avoid it. |
