 Rating: - Competitive price and no epic fails.I had been putting off making backups of my music and movie collections so I had to buy in bulk. Having so far burnt off around half the batch using 4x speed (to ensure a good copy without buffer underrun problems) and a backup of an XBOX game at 16x speed to check the transfer, I have had no problems - everything has worked first time fresh out of the drive, no wasted DVD coasters. Verbatim is an appropriate name - unlike some budget brands you get perfect copies each time, assuming that your DVD burner is up to scratch of course. My cheap generic unit has worked well so I think these would work well in almost any half-decent writer. And kudos to Amazon for it's usual lightning-fast delivery which was a whole week ahead of schedule! Rating: - Perfection has arrived!These Verbatim DVDs are the only brand I will buy, they record on my Sony RDR-HXD910 (Also highly recommended) on time and every time, why look elsewhere when perfection has arrived? Rating: - Great DVDsThese Verbatim DVDs seem to be Taiyo Yuden discs which means they are amongst the best you can buy. Need I say more apart from buy a Pioneer burner? Rating: - dvd qualityI have had alot of trouble with dvd's in the past but these verbatim dvd-r works fantastically, and they are really cheap for a top brand name. Rating: - They work, and they're cheapAs far as I'm concerned I only want three things from a set of blank DVD media. Namely that they all burn correctly, all work with my equipment and that they are cheap. It's a false economy to go for bargain basement DVDs, never mind the sheer frustration when burning problems occur. I've been using these disks for a number of years now, and have never had a problem. I use a good quality DVD burner (Pioneer) on my Dell PC and also my Pioneer HDD/DVD recorder and the disks burned are readable in both sets of equipment and in other PCs. I will continue to purchase these disks, and as one of the other reviewers said, at 20p a disk with no losses, what's not to be happy about? |
