 Rating: - Love itHad it a month now and am really happy with it. I downloaded the upgrade that adds the electronic program guide to the DAB radio and really can't think of a better system for the money I paid. It would have been nice to be able to record and play music to/from the USB slot but that's the only thing I can think to criticise it about. Highly reccommended. Rating:  - Magic!I've had this unit over 12 months now, and had no problems. The features are amazing to a guy who grew up recording Radio One onto a C-90 cassette! The build quality of this is fantastic, and is equalled by the sound that it produces. The ability to rewind, replay and record live radio is great, and the facility to insert an SD card is something I use on a daily basis. I know this unit isn't cheap, but you *DO* only get what you pay for!! Rating: - Excellent SystemI've only had mine for a few days, but so far it's an excellent system. Easy to set up and use and sounds great. It had no problems finding DAB stations with the supplied ariel despite being in a poor signal area. It's also a real bonus being able to play MP3s off an SD card rather than having to burn them to CD. Make sure that you download the latest firmware update from the Pure website as it also adds a 7 day Electronic Program Guide so that you can do timed DAB recordings to the SD card. This effectively makes it the same as the more expensive DMX-60 (but for £50 less). Rating: - jonny coventryi've recently bought this item and am very happy with it, though annoyingly the one i recieved was lacking the latest software, so updated it online through the pure website, it sounds great, clear and powerful, tuning is easy and the aerial, though not an ideal design for me, (i.e. long wires you pin up high on your wall) works fine, having said that, i would recomend it. Rating: - The Best DAB Stereo Just Got Even BetterI've owned this unit for about 3 months and could not be more pleased with it. The design and construction are first class and the DAB reception and sound quality are superb. I thought it had all the features I could possibly need, with replay/rewind of live programs, recording to SD card, and MP3 CD playback ... but then yesterday PURE emailed me to say there is a software upgrade available. I downloaded the software and plugged in the USB connection to my laptop - and the upgrade function operated flawlessly. And now my Pure has an electronic program guide (EPG), timer recording, and Intellitext too! All free of charge from Pure. Ownership doesn't get any better than this ... I'd give it 6 stars if I could! |
