 Rating:  - fantastic portable dvd playerThis is a fantastic 10" portable dvd player - plays all formats and packed with features - the picture and sound quality is excellent. DivX quality is very good. With two kids the twin headphone socket is useful. Tilt and swivel screen is great when used with the travel case-cum-back seat dvd holder - which is included. This Shinco portable is excellent value for money. Rating:  - OK as long as it lastsI bought this player over a year ago and was very pleased with it.The screen is large by general standard and the picyure quality good However one month after the warranty expired the battery failed then the power input became faulty and it has now packed in totally Tried to contact Shinco direct Impossible I would avoid and stick to main known brands Rating: - Good value for money basic 10.2'' DVD playerA bit noisy when powered up. No time counter. Tuner does not seem to power up well with the jack cable when connected to the player, but rather requires its own power supply (chargeur supplied), which makes TV viewing in the garden a bit problematic. Instructions say that you cannot recharge player batteries while watching DVD (it's either or). Tablet is a nice feature when on the move & lots of formats can be read. Price seems to have come up since I bought it 6 weeks ago on Amazon (?), but remains good value for money given the features. Rating: - Ruined my daughter's ChristmasMost disappointing to open this on Christmas day and find ugly whirring noise when you powered it up. We eventually got it working for about 5 minutes before it packed up entirely. It looked pretty tacky when it came out of the box so this was not a surprise. Rating: - Excellent Value and FeaturesI bought this for my sister who was in hospital after an accident and thought it would come in handy for watching the old movies, However seeing as its XVID/DIVX compatible it was a breeze to get hold of the latest TV shows, rip them to DVD, and keep it up to date. I'am pleased to say that, although my sister is now back home, the Shinco player is still getting plenty of use.Excellent value and feature-packed in comparision to other 9more expensive) portable players available on the high street.
