Editorial Review: Product Description: The 4.5 inch long Diving Submarine is heavier than water so it sinks then rises due to gas generated in it's chamber. Sinks, then rises to the surface! A small chamber is filled with baking powder (not included), then submerged in water and shake the sub vigorously. Submarine larger image Submarine larger image Submarine larger image As the baking power comes into contact with water, carbon dioxide is produced makes it become buoyant and rise to the surface. On the surface the gas is released, the sub sinks and the cycle is repeated until the chamber is emptied. The Diving Submarine is a great little toy for the bath that can be used over and over again.
