 Rating:  - Great Piece Of KitI have had 3 of these for 2 years now and of course there have been teething problems.But you must persist as they revolutionise your listening pleasure.Most of the problems stem from the PC end of the deal. I had problems until I reformatted my PC and now everything runs brilliantly. WMP could be better but you could run firefly.I don't care that it won't play AAC files and setting up is fairly easy if you follow the instructions. Buy this gizmo and realy enjoy flicking through the internet stations and picking up some fantastic music. Rating:  - Get the real Soundbridge!The ROKU Soundbridge M1000/M1001 are the big brother, but they shouldn't be more expensive! Big advantage of the ROKU's is that they do connect straight into your iTunes. No fiddling with Firefly etc. Rating: - Soundbridge HomeMusic and Windows Home ServerBought one of these from Pinnacle and wasn't disappointed. Got WPA setup within 15 minutes using 2 firmware upgrades that the device did for itself. Now can see 6000+ Internet Radio stations plus all of the music stored on my Windows Home Server using Windows Media Connect. No software to install and if you want to move it round the house, just unplug it and plug it in somewhere else. We use ours currently with small speakers and the kids have it in their room during the day. No hassle and I stop losing my CDs. Rating:  - Really disappointingI saw a blog review of the SoundBridge M1001 (out-of stock), and bought this thing instead. * hated the menu system at first sight * Don't want/need internet radio * Doesn't handle ogg * Cheap-and-nasty rubbery stand * No WPA, so I have to downgrade my wireless network security * Requires UPnP, so I have to downgrade my PC security even further * Requires Windows Media Player/Server, so I have to have sluggish trash running on my PC I was expecting: WPA; the option of a wired ethernet interface; and normal Windows remote shared folder access to find the music, via a web interface; long network password setup via cut-and-paste into a web interface rather than left-right up-down arrows ... Read More: Rating: - Great GadgetThis is an essential bit of kit if like me all your music is stored on the computer in the back bedroom and you would like to listen to it on the lounge stereo system. It was not all plain sailing to get it set up though, I could stream music from my laptop but not from my pc even though I was using windows media player 11 & windows xp on both computers. The problem was that when I tried to configure sharing in the options tab of media player it would not let me search for devices to let me share my media with. After hours of endless searching for an answer, I finally found out that you have to make some adjustments in the admin tools.
