Whilst its the best cricket game on 360... the previous one (2005) was at least more competitive. I mean I've played this on the hardest, realistic setting (test) and made over 1200 runs in 60 overs in one innings of a test match. The only way to make it competitive is to save it after an innings and then load it up and play as the other team and try to chase down the mammoth score you made previously. The only other way to make it remotely competitive is to play as Bermuda or Ireland against Australia or the West Indies. It makes it MUCH harder... you have to rely on lots of singles, but its STILL too easy! I tried a 20/20 game on the 'slog' setting thinking that would be the hardest. I made 435 and bowled the computer out for 65. Silly.

like many other people have said this game is good but has massive flaws in the gameplay
the batting for 1 is far too easy
for 2 the names aren't real and you can't edit them (i don't see why they can have real names for one-day matches and not tests)
if you create your own team then you can't have the real player names even if it's a one day match
if you create your own player then they can't play for an international team
and finally it's far too easy to complete, once you've done the world cup and champions trophy there's nothing to do, there should be counties
these flaws are irritating because if they were ironed out then this game would be immesurably good, the catches and throws are good, the bowling is ... Read More:

Much the same as other reviews really, a decent cricket game, but with some huge flaws!!
its just not challenging enough, il leave out the wicket keeper stumpings etc, as other reviews have covered that.
my biggest problem is the ease of the game!
even on the harderst level, its just to easy!
On test level i thought i had it figured, took a while but got the aussies out for 450, and took about about 3.5hours to do so.
but then i managed to get the needed runs in about 20 overs, with no wickets!!! to easy!
but usually you can get any team out for less that 100runs.
and dont get me started on the fielding, to make a catch is very difficult, esecially if you have slow ... Read More:

I agree with the first post made, great game. I particulary like the batting, the bowling is good, with each bowler having different characteristics. And, I don't agree that catches are WAY too hard, they are challenging at first. But still fun, when you've mastered them. The fielding is good, and there are good selection of fielding positions to choose, when you're bowling.
Apart from that though. I don't like how if you do a bad throw, or sometimes if you do a decent throw. The wicket keeper, knocks off the bails, not needed. It's completely pointless, and wastes time, just watching it. I also, would prefer for example, dancing down the wicket, button combinations were a bit shorter, hard to get used to pressing 4 buttons, when you're ... Read More:

When I bought this game, I was hoping for a challenging and realistic game of international cricket.
But I soon came across two or three flaws - both in game play and functionality - which seriously harmed my enjoyment of the game.
Test cricket has been neglected. There is no option to play a test series, for example. All you can do is play a one-off exhibition match, or take part in a league. I find this really disappointing. Why exclude such a big part of cricket?
As is usually the case in these games, there is an issue with licensing and player names.
The World Cup and Champions Trophy start with real player names, but these soon turn fake when you reload a saved game. Test matches have fake names ... Read More:
