 Rating:  - Battery eaterMy little girl loves this track but be prepared to replace the batteries often, as other reviewers have mentioned the cars do tend to loose the battery charge unless you are prepared to take the batteries out after they have been played with. Wouldn't purchase again. Rating: - nice item for roary fans, but not worth the moneyi bought this second hand for £5, after setting it all up and testing it, i am so glad i never bought it brand new for £49.99 as it is definatley not worth the money. the cars just go around the track on their own and you just sit and watch, which is quite boring, and im sure my son who is a big roary fan will love it at first, (only cos it is something new) but will end up getting bored of it after a few minutes. my advice, dont buy brand new cos your just throwing your money away, you be better off trying to get it second hand and definatley for less than £10 its not worth anymore than that. Rating: - We were disappointedWe were quite disappointed by this toy. What is annoying is how Roary and Maxi end up on the same track, they seem to jump, although they both can take quite a 'bashing' ! Make no mistake the sound effects are great with the 'real' voice of Peter Kay. For the cost of the toy though I was expecting a little bit more. Rating:  - Much better than i thought!!Had been almost put off buying this for my almost 3 year old son when reading the other reviews. Glad i did buy it as he loves it. The voices of Big Chris, Roary and Maxi are great. I think as a first race track it's perfect and the cars are a great size to grip. Come on Roary, one more lap!!!! Rating: - Great for the younger racersMy little boy is 2.75 and this is the perfect first race track for him. He loves watching the cars and given the simple operations he can manage to set the cars off and stop them himself. Have had no problems with getting the cars to stop once I read the instructions, just press the hats. I would suggest that the 3+ age guide is a little misleading as I would say as there is no small parts this is ideal for age 2-4 years, beyond that I think they would want more interaction. |
