Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent fun for the money
We bought this plane from M&S, and although it takes a little bit of practice to get used to the controls, when you have the nack this toy is excellent. We've manage to keep it flying for 5 minutes at a time now. The down side is the little rechargeable battery in the plane doesn't last that long, and is fiddly to take out and charge (the battery has to be removed from the plane using a screwdriver and charged from the remote). Also, if the batteries in the remote have charged the plane a couple of times, the battery life of the plane drops drastically.

All in all though, for the money this toy is fantastic fun.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Disappointing battery life
We bought this from Marks and Spencer online and though it is durable, with repeated nose-dives into the ground, it did not fly very well. The propellers seem too small and underpowered for the size of the plane. The concept is good, with two speeds for the propellers (climb and cruise) but there was insufficient power for it to climb in the short time we used it. Having charged the plane's powerpack once, the battery would not recharge a second time and that was the end of the experiment. I reckon a smaller, lighter plane is needed for battery powered flight or else something with bigger propellers and more powerful engines - I'm not sure that the battery power/weight ratio works. Beware.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great fun and tougher than your granny's feet...
I bought this after completely destroying a very expensive remote control Spitfire (£[...]) that I got for a birthday present within 10 seconds of its maiden flight. And despite my piloting skills showing little improvement, I can confirm that this lives up to it's 'virtually indestrucible' claim, having nosedived into the ground, flown straight into a brick wall and, rather spectacularly, bounced off a greenhouse with little noticeable damage to either plane or greenhouse.

It's quite simple and is completely controlled via its two propellors, with no ailerons, rudder, etc to worry about. To climb, is simply spins the propellors faster, and to turn it spins one propellor faster than the other. Rudimentary, but kind of ingenious ... Read More:
