Editorial Review: Product Description: Welcome to the next generation of wireless FM transmitters. This item once connected to your iPod or MP3 player allows you to wirelessly transmit your songs to any FM radio player. Ideally used for the car, this item is surprisingly clear with no complicated wiring. Simply plug the 3.5mm jack into the headphone socket of your device and tune it in, and that is basically it. With this digital transmitter you can turn the power on and off, digitally tune to your favourite frquency and preset any frequency for pure convenience. As you can see from the images provided the transmitter is compact and attractive in its design so it wont stick out like a sore thumb. The blue backlight finishes this transmitter off perfectly with a neon blue LCD and clear digital display. This item can be used with any radio player so feel free experiment at home or work.  Rating: - Good tool, bad with batteriesWorks perfectly, but really eats batteries. Best to use the in-car cable it comes with. The in-car cable also has a USB slot in, probably to charge mp3 players with, but if you have a USB to USB cable you can use it to power the device from your pc. Rating: - A pretty good home radio station for a fiver!To my surprise, this tiny thing really does broadcast reasonable audio to every radio in my solid stone house! The reviewers who say it doesn't work at all must have got duds. The quality you get depends partly on how noisy the FM band is in your area. Ideally you need a completely silent FM channel, but you're unlikely to find one. I found the lowest freqs best (75.5-75.7) but there is a high-pitched whistle there which remains audible when using this transmitter. To get the transmitter away from the mess of wires round your PC, also order USB and 3.5mm-jack extension cables - this improves quality a bit. Rating: - Worth itI was dubious of this product obviously because it was cheap and all, when it arrived I was also worried because my old rover does not even have a ciggerette lighter, but I put in batteries and they work fine. It really is worth the money and it works perfectly, the only problem is there is noise when a song is not playing but it's hardly a big deal. I would definatley reccomend saving your money and buying this.
