first of all i was a bit annoyed at the price, but in the end i managed to get it for £150 including the game, me and my mates couldnt wait any longer.
after playing the game, i can safely say its worth every penny, we've had hours of fun on it, so mch so my m8 is gettin his own so we can battle online.
great thing is, if u get bored playing the drums u cn play guitar...and then mike, and so on, so basically its not jus the same thing over n over like in guitar hero
the song list is pretty damn brilliant, theres a very wide selection of tastes, but not only that, u cn download over 160 songs (at bout 50p - £1.00) each, which wen u tihnk, if u download a song on itunes, it costs that much anyway, so u ... Read More:

Like many others I was incensed with the price for Rock Band, but still intended to buy it as I am a massive fan of the Guitar Hero games.
I'm glad I took the plunge, because the whole experience is incredible. The track listing is infinitely superior to that of Guitar Hero, and playing with your mates is amazing!
Another great part about this is the amount of money that I've actually SAVED by having some mates over on a friday night and staying in playing this all night with a few beers, rather than going out and spending ridiculous amounts in London. 5 stars

I know there has been a lot of criticism about the price of this game. Yes it does cost a lot to buy but then new games usually do. But I weigh the price against how good the game is and what you actually get for your money. I bought this game together with rock band in a box and together they weren't too bad in price. I only saw the game advertised in a magazine a day before I bought it as had not heard of it before. I thought I would get it for my other half as a pseudo father day present from our pets. For anyone who hasn't played guitar hero, which it is exactly like, here is an over view of the game.
Basically with the guitar part you can use either set of fret buttons ( I like the fact it has two sets, one for smaller hands ... Read More:

Would everyone please stop moaning about the price! If you already own Guitar Hero 2 or 3 this is an essential purchase (as you don't have to buy any extra instruments) and totally surpasses its predecessors.
With weekly DLC this is the only rhythm game you need (before the next big thing anyway).
At the moment I have 91 tracks and I'll be getting the new Weezer one's later this week.
I was fortunate enough to play with the full band its the best fun I've had on the Xbox since its release and the best party game ever!
