 Rating:  - BrilliantFEAR Files is a brilliant follow on to the main game. Two really good stories (campaigns) matching the intensity of the main game. If you liked FEAR you will love this .... Can't wait for FEAR 2 Rating:  - More of the Same, only with subtle improvementIf you didnt like the premise or gameplay of FEAR, then stop reading now- these extra levels will not win any converts. Many will point out that, despite slight improvement in graphics/lighting, this does not push the visual envelope like Gears, or COD4, but then, neither did Halo 3. If, however, you are one of the many (like me) who found the blend of Asian movie Horror, intense action, and claustrophobic environment, to be a very engaging and 'pure' FPS experience, then the new plot developments, extra weaponry (miniguns-Yay!!!) and new levels will make you a very happy Super-soldier indeed! :-) Bring on the creepy bullet-time carnage!!! |
