Looking over the reviews I saw that some people had had some delays with their items arriving, so I ordered it a good month in advance. I also had next day delivery, to limit the damage that it might recieve through the post. I was stupid to have thought it would be late. Amazon have brilliant service and you can literally buy anything from them, my ipod was late but only becasue it had been delivered to my next door neighbour as I was out and he had gone to work. I was thoroughly impressed with all aspects of Amazons service and when I rang to complain about my Ipod not arriving they could not have been more helpful, I rang my local sorting office and like I said ... The lure of 80g of space for the price and the smaller ipod persuaded me. Although I do like the ipod, since I've had it does seem to have taken up lots of time trying to sort out issues. First I decided I didn't want to use itunes and would use MediaMonkey instead to manage my vast collection of MP3 files. My first issue was that I had to install itunes because the ipod would not show the album art. I had to go into itunes and untick the album art option exit it and go back in and re-check the option. Read More: Rating: - pleasedI bought the ipod classic after i sent my nano 8gb back in disgust,originally i bought the nano because of its size and the fact that it says it holds upto 4000 tracks depending on the format,now i'm no computer expert but when someone says 4000 depending on the format i would expect the amount to be somewhere near that figure,however when i got it home and loaded it i had less than 1965 songs on it which i was not happy about so it went straight back.So then i ordered the ipod classic 80 gb,now this gizmo is quite a bit bigger but i cant really complain about that because the memory is huge and they dont make any secrets about the size of these things so people always know what they are buying.i don't find the control knob as sensitive as it was on the ... The build quality is fantastic, the sound quality is superb and the looks are stunning. The only bad things about it is that the back scratches quite easily and the headphones apple supply are rubbish. Other than that BRILLIANT |
