Amazon.co.uk Review:
It's the game that never should've worked. Normal licensed games are usually bad enough but the game of the toy of the film? Clearly the Force was with developer Traveller's Tales though because Lego Star Wars I and II were huge critical and commercial hits that showed that not only could licensed games be good but that titles aimed at kids and the family could be just as innovative and entertaining as any other. Clearly not wishing for any of the new consoles to miss out on the fun this is a compendium of both games with a bunch of new extras thrown in on top.
Together the two games cover both the prequel and original trilogy, with each film given six separate levels of its own, one of which is vehicle based. The rest of the levels though are deceptively simple action adventures with a built-in co-operative mode that anyone can join in and leave whenever they want. The combat is simple enough that anyone can play and you never really die, leaving the most complex part of the gameplay the always cleverly designed puzzles.
For this special version of the games extra levels have been added in (including the Zam Wessell chase from Attack of the Clones) as well as new bonus missions, ten new bounty hunter missions and the ability to play any of the characters in any of the levels. Add in a new online co-op mode for the PS3 and 360 and this really is the complete saga.

Its fun on your own and even more fun with someone else. My husband and I have played this so much. I don't think I'd realised how completely addicted to this we would become... its fun, and humorous, and ensured many a late night whilst we did just one more level! I love this game!

Much has been written about this so for a game play point for View there's nothing I can add.
However be WARNED, many people have been buying games from .de & .fr without problems examples: Wii fit,Mario Kart, Links Cross Bow Training etc- These game are in 5 languages inc English so will work on your UK console in English.
LEGO Star wars by Activision :is not- IN France it is sold in French only, IN Germany -German only, so unless you want to play in either of these 2 languages don't buy from .de & .fr other wise you will disappointed.
.de & .fr sell many things that can be used in English on the wii- if there are other games, then check first, as Both sites have help(Aide:fr), (Hilfe-:de) ... Read More:

I have gotten both Lego Star wars and Lego Star wars the original trilogy for the Playstation 2 however when I heard that they were making a saga edition I had to get it. I love the Playstation version of the games and I couldn't wait to try it out on the wii. It was defiantly worth the wait. The saga edition is basically both of the games put into one, with little extra bits added in such as the vastly increased character collection, the game has also added one new storyline level where in episode 2 you get to chase Sam the bounty hunter through the city of Courasant. Bonus features have been added to the games as well, there is an entire room of bonus features that you can unlock by buying the golden bricks, this new room allows you to play ... Read More:

Just excellent. Broadly faithful to the movies, with some hilarious takes on famous scenes done in "lego style" as a really nice touch.
Gameplay is very good, clearly not that graphically challenging and not overly demanding as a game. Some great "shoot 'em ups" interspersed with some roleplay games that are also good fun.
Probably best for younger children and older adults that can't handle (or can't be bothered with) the complexity of some of the newer games. For those brought up on a diet of Defender & Scramble who remember Star Wars the first time around, this game is perfect to play with your kids.

What a brilliant game. First of all if you enjoy being frustrated beaten and trying over and over to complete a game this is not for you. This graphically pleasing game is a fun romp through the whole starwars saga from start to finish. It is not easy but does not keep killing you off, your reward for doing well are more money, more comrades to play with and minikit vehicles. One of the best features is that players can drop in or out whenever you like so if your child is playing and needs help you can just drop in give them a hand and play a while then drop out again. You fisrt play through the actual stories themselves and on completion of each you can then explore the level in free play and use other characters to reach secret areas you missed ... Read More:
