 Rating: - WORLD OF FANTASY!!!One of the best cd's I've ever bought!! I love the voice of Amy adams, her songs (True Love's Kiss, Happy Working Song and That's How You Know) are very precious and beautiful; Carry Underwood is simply incredible in her song (Ever Ever After), too!; the instrumental songs transport you to that fantasy world (you wish you were into the movie again), they are so special and the arrangements are terrific, the orchestra is one of the best efforts of this sondtrack, and Alan Menken did a marvelous work!!...and I adore the romantic song (so Close), is the climax of both movie and soundtrack!! And the last song, with James Mardsen (That's Amore) is very nostalgic, funny and magic (you think you are in Paris)!! You have to buy this cd...Is simply ENCHANTED!! ... As can be expected the songs are beter than the incidental music with stand out songs including 'True Love's Kiss ' and 'Happy Working Song' which are sang beautifully by the very talented Amy Adams. Anyone who likes the film will enjoy this. Rating: - EnchantingThe soundtrack to the film Enchanted is enchanting. The first five songs are symbolic of classic Disney fairytales with a modern twist and a somewhat self-mocking approach. Amy Adams is as sweet a singer as she is an actress and radiates in all of her performances, as does James Marsden (Prince Edward). The other tracks make up the score of the film and are composed by multi-Oscar winners Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz - who worked on The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Hercules - and are beautiful creations that compliment the songs perfectly. The soundtrack has already rightly received three Oscar nominations and is an essential part of any soundtrack or Enchanted lover's collection. |
