 Rating:  - Does Not Work With Bose Docking Station!I bought this product as I felt it would give me exactly what I needed - a digital radio for my kitchen. However, after taking it out of the packet I could not get it to work. I tried with headphones and it worked fine but not in the docking station (which is market leader - Bose). I emailed iTempo and they came back to say that their engineers just found out that the iDab is incompatible with the Bose docking station. I returned the item but have not heard anything and have not had a refund yet either! That was a month ago. NOT HAPPY. Rating:  - Bose SoundDock IncompatibilityIntempo iDAB Granite Black - DAB Radio For iPod And Speakers Intempo iDab DAB Adaptor For iPod - Black Intempo iDab DAB Adaptor For iPod - Silver Buyer beware - I have written confirmation from Intempo that the iDab is NOT compatible with the Bose SoundDock. They are working on a solution, but if you want to use it with the Bose SoundDock then you would be wise to wait until you have written confirmation of its compatibility. Their advert on their website still indicates that it IS compatible with "All" iPod docking stations. Rating: - It's OK, but not greatStraightforward to use; subject to the usual breaks and episodes of burbling that we experience in my area, where the digital signal isn't strong. Works with my Logic 3 speakers and my wife's pink Intempo speakers, but not with the Bose Sound Dock, which is annoying. Rating:  - Intempo does it again!This arrived yesterday as a birthday present from my wife. A wonderful piece of micro-technology that autotuned to all the stations I receive on my "big" DAB radio. Excellent quality sound and easy to use - what more can I ask for? With this and my iPod, why does anything have to be any larger than this? Highly recommended. Rating: - DAB for iPod - done!At last I can listen to Five Live whilst out and about without having to buy a big portable DAB Radio (I hate having too much clutter on me!). The iDab was easy to set up, I found all the stations I needed by pressing the up and down buttons on the side. The sound quality is superb and I was a little wary as a previous review said it wasn't so good, I obviously thought this strange as this would be more to do with either the speakers or headphones that the DAB was being played through?!?! I must have been right as the sound quality was great through my Shure headphones. Very happy with it! |
