 Rating: - Excellent port of a classic, finally back on the MacI wont go into the details of the game, the PC reviews are sufficiently accurate in my opinion. The port to the Mac is exactly like the PC version. I own both versions, so any issue with the PC version regarding silly camera angles don't appear to be resolved in this but I've only played up to the third level (Lost Valley). I'll update the comment at a later date if this proves to inaccurate. The system requirements are huge. Even my new iMac struggles with all the settings on high at 1680x1050. Turning off "Depth of field" and reducing the Anti-Aliasing makes the game smooth to play. The screen on the iMac makes this game a pleasure to play, and it is probably better than on the PC with an ordinary TFT monitor. Well done to Feral Interactive ... Read More: |
