 Rating:  - Basic - but good valueI'm certainly no expert but I have flown a few electric helicopters so I have some idea of their capability. The Bladez is very basic, as a radio controlled model; but compared to many of the helicopter toys around now this little model flies well. With relatively little effort the total beginner should be able to keep the Bladez in the air, given a reasonable space (beginners should avoid living rooms and the like until they can manage a reasonable hover). I'd say this little effort might cover say a weekend, taking in 10-15 'flights'. Aside from ease-of-flying it's important to consider durability too. And the Bladez does very well on that front, with a good solid airframe which struck me as a surprisingly good build quality. Another ... I think this toy has great control because i find that most indoor rc heli's dont really tend to go foward but this heli goes like a bullet in any direction, foward, backwards left and right. I have crashed this heli into many trees and it fell from about 15 meters and it still works as it did on the first day i got it. Only problem with this toy is that the battery life is a bit short because a 30-35 min charge gives you around 8 mins flying time but thats enough for me, gives me a break from chasing birds. Overall it is well worth its money, it's deffinatly top of its cheap rival rc helis. |
