This, at 10 inches, is one of the largest LCD frames on the market. I've owned one for a few weeks and can compare it to a £25 more expensive Sony frame. The Kodak frame scores higher than the Sony in that it is cheaper, the frame is larger, and it will play videos. Both frames are solidly built and have similar picture quality. Like smaller Kodak frames this has the same intuitive menu driven operating system and usefully it has some inbuilt memory so you don't need to leave a memory card in the frame.
For the price and size it's competitive especially if you want to show video. I'd be tempted to look at the Sony 9 inch frame as well though if you can live with a slightly smaller and more expensive frame without video functionality. ... Read More:

I have an older version of this frame myself and purchased this for someone in their 80's as a present. Have plugged in flash drive to usb port and love the quality of the photos , new slideshow features etc. including random slideshow. The touch screen bit works well and once set up and set to a timed slideshow won't need to be messed about with by the owner anyway. Scanned images from pre-digital days display well and I am confident it will be a very well received xmas gift. The most negative review of the product appears to reflect nothing about this frame but everything about the purchaser's annoyance with amazon - not really relevant. Frame is fabby - very happy to give it 5 *****

I love my Digital Frame! Kodak's M820 frame allows me to display my digital pictures to friends & family alike - all of whom have been blown away by the quality AND it is really easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone.

First lets start with the positive, the picture quality is great; and it feels like a high quality product. However, the user interface is awful; un-intuitive and as far as I can tell missing some obvious functions: there is no one touch pause/play capability in the slide show.
The menu structure associated with the quick touch border takes effort to get used to and is not explained in the manual.
I tried the unit with a couple of videos from my Panasonic camera, which play well on my computer using RealPlayer and Quicktime. The play back started well then became jerky then the picture stopped completely, play back continued with sound only, this happened both when the videos were loaded into the internal memory and ... This review is split into two parts; the 1) Frame and 2) Amazon customer services.
1) THE FRAME: I bought this frame as a birthday present for my brother back in early September. The first frame was sent out, and on set-up he discovered that the universal plug had a broken prong (couldn't fit the plug face plate). He subsequently returned it and I was sent a replacement. On set-up of the replacement, the frame would not power up. We sent this one back and asked for a refund (see section below). Still don't know if this was an adaptor problem or a problem with the frame. However, one thing is obvious, a 100% failure record suggests a quality problem with this Kodak frame or with a particular batch perhaps. I had bought the older ... Read More:
