 Rating:  - really fabWell its been quite a while since I "treated" myself to an ipod at Christmas and had to send it back due to unacceptable sound quality. Took the plunge with the Sony walkman 16gb version of this without Bluetooth yesterday and I have to say the difference in sound quality is quite remarkable. I have been ripping using windows media player 11 (128 bit rate windows media) and it is really excellent. I did think when I got the ipod it was sexy but they had skimped somewhere and it was not just on the headphones. With the Walkman the first thing that I noticed was the openness and natural midrange without hint of distortion found on the ipod. the top end was also a lot cleaner and songs retain a fantastic sense of drive and realism ... Rating: - Easy to use.Great MP3 player. This is the third Sony MP3 player I have owned. (not really got into the iPod thing). This is by far the best yet. I got the 16 GB player because I like to carry my whole CD collection around with me. 5 star for the sound quality but miss some of the old features my other players had. (e.g. delete from player and book mark play lists). Blue tooth good for in the car as no more wires to CD player as it has Blue tooth too. Very easy to use and a good battery life, sound great and not an iPod. The Only Other Thing Is Its Hidden Charges. I Paid About £6 More Then It Said, Amazon Is Not Clear When It Comes To The Crunch Of Paying The Money. One Shop Is Selling This Type Of Sony 16GB MP3 Player For Under £140. I Rushed Into Getting It. Just Do More Research Before Buying An Item! But At This Time I Will Make The Most Out Of The Grate Sounding Walkman. |
