 Rating:  - Great arcade hack-em-upThis is a great follow up to the third game in the series, and much more accessible/easy than its prequel. I gave up on DMC3 after a couple of levels due to my hamfistedness, but this one has a gentler learning curve. For the uninitiated, this game series has a look and feel of Japanese manga. Teen heroes with huge swords, guns and sarcasm face off against colossal bosses, on their way to rescuing pneumatic heroines, with eyes almost as large as their chests, and eyelashes that you can trip over. Daft ? Undoubtedly ! But great fun. Players use two characters during the game, Nero, a blond youth with customary sword, gun, attitude and swishy overcoat plus an overdeveloped right arm (fnarr) to wrestle demons with; then about ... As soon as the game was delivered I began to play it, and what can I say... WOW, The graphics were absolutely awesome, and the landscape was beautiful. Gameplay wise, its nothing short of spectacular, the combat system has stayed true to its roots, but has had some nice little tweaks.
