Clinical Sports Medicine (McGraw-Hill Sports Medicine)by: Peter Brukner, Karim Khan August 01, 2006 Most of my fellow reviewers here seem to have missed that they are reviewing the book instead of the DVD, as listed. I must say I am very disappointed in the DVD. Whilst it has pretty comprehensive review of examinations of the upper limb, in the lower limb only the knee gets any real attention. The hip and ankle are almost completely left out, apart from taping of the latter! When an area is touched upon it is pretty superficially discussed. Basically there is a quick run through of the examination of that area, but no discussion of the theory accompanying it. In short, for the areas actually included, this DVD would serve as nothing more than an aide memoire and certainly won't teach you examinations ... Read More: |
