Therefore, we missed out on several exceptional games from that time, one of those being Final Fantasy VI. Ever since Final Fantasy VII became a smash hit worldwide, many had been curious about previous entries in the franchise, and Squaresoft was happy to ablige by releasing ports in either compilation packs (Final Fantasy Origins and Anthology) or stand-alone entries like this one.
