Considering how much could be spent on a pair of headphones, these are amazingly cheap. And, for that reason, are very good value.

The base is enhanced a lot. Although it is a heavy, slightly muffled sound. Which is ok, for listening to early rock n roll sixties recordings, which I like. Although fairly limited, the high and mid ranges are evident.To a certain extent only. So if you are not reasonably fussed about having too perfect overall sound quality, these are very good value. They seem to be solidly built,play loud and for certain types of music, they are ideal.
