. Xbox Official Memory Unitfrom: Microsoft March 14, 2002 The sole purpose of me buying these Memory Unit's is one word, "Backup". I always backup my saved data because if my consoles die or go out with a bang, I always have something small around me which has the backup data, and it helps me get back into business rather than starting from scratch! This Memory Unit is for the XBox Console. Its sole goal is to store any saved data you wish to backup and take around with you on your travels. Because of it's size though, you are quite limited to what you want to backup as certain games take quite a bit of saved data on the Memory Unit.
