Sony LSC-VAC Compact Camcorder Soft Carrying Casefrom: Sony August 22, 2006 Having just purchased a new Sony compact camcorder (DCR-SR range) I wanted to get a case that was not an obvious thief magnet and offered quality affordable protection. With the price difference so little between genuine Sony and independent case manufacturers I decided to go with the genuine article. I have not had it long but it is well padded with a discrete small pocket, useful for a small battery or filter and the zips and clip seems good quality. When fully closed the top is very well protected with the sides zipped shut and an additional flap over the top. It would have to be very wet indeed to ingress water into the fully closed case.
