It gives very good quality recordings even in EP mode. As this is the first dvd I've used I can't comment on ease of use compared to other machines, but I found the instruction manual clear and have no problems using any of the features. The only drawback is that in recording from analogue TV there is sometimes a noticable variation in picture brightness. But as I record mainly from a digital set top box I don't regard this as a significant problem |
