Heroes of Might and Magic V (PC DVD)from: Ubisoft May 19, 2006 Ok, this was a long-awaited game since the release of Heroes of Might and Magic IV (HOMM IV) which was an awesome, entertaining game to play. It appears HOMM V has been developed to suit a 3D environment, which is quite attractive. Nevertheless, this has not worked out too well due to the resources not being managed well by the programming of the game. I like big maps and scenarios that take absolute ages to finish. Well, it takes ages for each player to take their turn no matter what machine you have. This is really bad. After 5 turns you understand you do not have the time to waste on this.
