Toshiba SD-P1700 Portable DVD Player with 7" Displayfrom: Toshiba March 07, 2006 I was very happy to find a great deal on this Toshiba that included a carrying case and all manner of leads and rechargers. The item itself seemed much more robust and quality-made than the competition. My daughters also loved how easy it was to use, the great picture and that it has two headphone outlets. HOWEVER, after about 18 months of play, the item started giving trouble, not playing DVDs at the first or second or third attempt. Now, at just over two years old, it refuses to play most DVDs and, if it starts to play them, it will stop somewhere in the middle of the film. Sadly, it's headed for the rubbish bin. |
