Netgear DG834N RangeMax NEXT Wireless ADSL Modem, Router.from: Netgear June 06, 2006 I bought this to extend the wireless range inside my house and (using an existing an 834G in bridge mode) beyond to an office in the garden. The troubles started as soon as I powered up the Rangemax with an intermittent loss of the wireless connection. I've spent hours on the 'phone with their tech suport desk, carried out numerous factory resets, alternative settings etc. etc. With no success. The wireless function has now finally died and I'm due a replacement, judging by the other unfavourable reviews I'm not holding out much hope. In summary, if you feel like loosing your sanity buy one. |
