I've never used a dictaphone before in my life, so I've got nothing to compare it to, but I've got no real complaints so far. I bought it because I needed a dictaphone for less than £30 - and fast. This was the cheapest one I could guarantee would arrive within 2 days. And so... tada! It's easy to use. Just turn it on and hit record, basically. Everything is done in an instant, too - there are no delays with recording or deletion, so it's great for whipping out of your pocket and making a quick note on.
