With my daughter, and now with my son, it seemed we tried every cup under the sun, with every state-of-the-art valve system designed to make it 'non-spill'. Unfortunately, this seems to be entirely for the parents' benefit: yes, the carpets stayed dry, but neither of my children could actually get liquid out of these valved wonders. I even resorted to trying them myself, and the experience was - well, like trying to get water out of that proverbial stone.
