. Goldring DR100 HEADPHONESfrom: Goldring I bought these for my PC. I've replaced a set of 5.1 Speedlink Medusas with the DR100s and I'm pleased with the difference. Once I had changed the settings to suit the DR100s rather than the Medusas (which have their own amp), the quality of the sound was noticeably better than with the Medusas. I found that bass needed some boost and I have noticed some sibilance, but I'm reassured by comments on forums about this being normal with new Goldring headphones and that it disappears over the first dozen or so hours of use. Comments such as "All the goldring headphones I've tried have been rather shrill out of the box, suffering from sibilence (overemphasising 's' sounds and cymbals etc).
