Sony BDP-S300 - Blu-Ray Disc Player - 1080P Full HDfrom: Sony September 05, 2007 The gist is that I needed to buy an additional bluray player and thought what better machine to buy than a Sony bluray player! I mean how can you go wrong with buying a player made by the very people behind bluray! The amazingly cheap price (under £155), brand new, not bad looking, and it was, as I had mentioned, made by Sony - the company behind PS3 of all machines! But what went wrong? Well it all fell apart as soon as I had turned the machine on. Literally turning the damn thing and waiting for it to turn on actually took minutes as oppose to seconds with my PS3, my many standard dvd players, including my HD-dvd player!
