Judging by the other review on this page I must have just picked up a dodgy pair off the shelf. As it is, I've lost a lot of respect for JVC thanks to these headphones. I'd previously been using a pair made by another top-brand name which lasted me almost two years before finally packing in. I thought i'd give these a whirl as they looked good and I felt the £20 price tag was a guarantee of at least some quality.

While the ear buds proved to be comfortable and of reasonable sound quality (although lacking bass, but you try getting a speaker the size of a peanut to thump out a decent beat), within a few weeks of use one of them had snapped off.
