As the title suggests, this groovy little book is all about life underground, from mines to life under the sea. There are plenty of bright colourful drawings which make it ideal of children.
However, the best thing about this book, is the all the tabs and flaps which you can pull and open to reveal hidden secrets treasures. This is really fun for children and enables them to learn while have fun, which is exactly what learning should be.
Along with the fun stuff, there are loads and loads of interesting facts, feats and figures such as the deepest cave decent, the deepest grave, the biggest rubbish tip, the largest pure gold nugget, the oldest ship wreck, to name but a few.
Also, if you are into making pop up cards etc then this is a very good book as it gives you a behind the scenes look into how the flaps and tags work.
Overall, quite a interesting and educational book which any child is sure enjoy reading, and together with the colourful pictures and the flaps it makes reading this book just that little bit easier.
