Fantstic well written. Its easy to see why this is a best seller. This is a real Novel and well written. Its better than the films, it will grip you and you wont be able to put it down.

Its sensational, phenomenal, exciting. In other worlds it's brilliant. In terms of story it's the best book I have ever read.
Rowling must have spent ages planing this out and rely paid off. I was surprised she used swearwords but that defiantly brought something to the book. So what if there is a dull patch in the middle, it's fasinating.
Not in the slightest bit overrated in 100 years time she will be the next dickens. If someone said Harry Potter was better that Lord of the Rings I certainly wouldn't complain. I have A massage to all the people who gave it one star. "SORT YOUR LIFE OUT!!"

I have followed the harry potter series from the start and once i have started a Harry potter book i find it very difficult to put down until the end. This book was no exception! the story line great and constantly wanting to turn the page to find out more. Then you get to the end and it seems like it was written in haste and would fit a little childs fairy tale rather than the end to the Harry potter series. Maybe i was expecting to much but i was very angry and upset. I would recommend the book to people just be warned not to read the epilogue. Best to leave it to your imagination...

These books changed literature forever. You can dismiss them if you wish, but never has a book so captured the world's imagination. While I remain immune to the syruppy charms of the epilogue, it is in Rowling's words, how she had always pictured it. I cannot argue with that.

I loved this book. All the little questions left dangling in the earlier books are finaly resolved here, and in so tightly plotted a manner it's clear J.K. Rowling had indeed planned the ending right from the very beginning, just as she has always claimed.
There is a slightly dull patch in the middle, but even this has its own merits, as it makes the story feel more real to have frustrating periods when our heroes don't seem able to advance, and ultimately it makes the climax more satisfying.
Of all the series, this one may perhaps not speak to closely to children, as the emotions are a little more sophisticated, but it is quite possible to read it simply as an exciting adventure story and enjoy it on that level. In reality, however, it is a great deal more than that, and the crucifixion symbolism of the King's Cross material is very effectively done. I enjoyed the book enormously, and would recommend it to anyone who has read the earlier books, although it could not stand alone in its own right.
