G-Police is quite simply a wonderful game.
Do you remember the gun-ships flying around Nakatomi Plaza from Die Hard the movie? Or the helicopter chase seen from T2? You can relive all of those exciting moments in this excellent gunship shoot 'em up, one of the most original games to come out for its time.
The graphics are excellently rendered, there is no noticeable slowdown as tracer fire flies at you from all directions, you have nearly unlimited options as to which targets you take out and which ones you show a bit of mercy to, and the difficulty level is just right, the missions get harder as you go, giving you the opportunity to both get into this game quickly and also to develop your flying skills as you go, "on the fly" you might say.
The domed sections of each city are interlinked with tunnels which you can fly through, and your objectives are clearly set out via beautifully crafted FMV sections between each mission.
