Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - thumb numbing experience
the reason this game gets 2 stars is because it is too darn hard, and this is coming from a hardcore gamer. The begining sets the scene of the family, introducing Mr WhatsHisName - Tanoe? A working business man off to work. So far so good. The first level is fun - the dance fever, which is fairly easy...but i got only far as the third level, which is when he is stuck in this friggin escalator and has a time limit in which he has to make it stop, but simultaneously avoiding the flying objects that descend above him...Anyways to cut to the chase, it really tires your patience after so many attempts of trying to pass a level. It is very FRUSTRATING! The good points to make of this game, is that it is a breath of fresh air, in the sense that it has its own originality, quirky characters, good graphics and has a humour aura around it but...i cant say much more than that since i've never got far as the third level.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Insanity Crisis!
At last a game with genuine family humour!!!
Incredible Crisis is a one player game full of various mini games that are derived from a family of four getting home on time for their Grandma's birthday.
Each family member has a bizarre set of circumstances and each is fantastically loveable.
The mini games themselves range from the simple (Shooting giant teddy bears, finding shopping items) to the devishly evil (maths sums with golden pigs and groceries, memory tests with aliens) to the plain bizarre (running away from killer bugs, massaging sexy temptresses).
Each mini game is easy to pick, but many of them are hard to beat.
If there were any faults with the game, it'd be that some of the mini-games are just variations of eachother, and that there isn't a learning curve, it'd more of a wavy line!
None-the-less, Incredible Crisis is by far one of the most unique and helerious games I've ever played - so much so my friends now all do the Taneo "Yaaawayyyyyyyyy" instead of saying hello!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Oh, the insanity
Incredible Crisis is one of the most bizarre games I have ever experienced.

Basically, you control each of the members of a suburban family in Japan briefly throughout a number of minigames. The narrative goes back and forth in time and won't be completely understood until you finish the game; it involves shrinking rays, aliens, homicidal iron balls and explosions.

You start off controlling Taneo, a businessman. The first level of the game is akin to a dance game like DDR; the second a test of dexterity; the third a matter of pure button-bashing. The gameplay is fast and varied, and the bizarre sense of humour keeps everything moving.

Later stages find you controlling Taneo's wife, son, and daughter. There are 24 minigame/levels but there's not one that takes more than five minutes to finish, done well. This is a game you can complete in an evening but it's great fun to do so.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Incredible Is The Word
Giant rampaging pink teddy bears, a snowboarding housewife, bank-robbing trumpet-playing wolves, psychotic school teachers, Incredible Crisis! Possibly the best, and certainly the most original game that we've found for the PlayStation. There are 24 interconnected mini games that make up the story of how Taneo and his family get back in time for Grandma's birthday. Although some levels seem impossible at first, blind stubborn perseverance will eventually get you through. This is strongly recommended for those who love Japanese style mayhem as typified by Bishi Bashi Special. There are button pounding games, quizzes, races against the clock, tests of endurance... the list goes on. Once chapters are cleared, the mini games can be saved to play or practice on separately. Bizarre, addictive, stimulating and very, very funny, this is just about as good as it gets on the PlayStation - try it, buy it, you'll love it.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - terrible crisis
WHEN I BOUGHT THIS GAME I THOUGHT I WAS BUYING A BRILLIANTT GAME BUT ITS RUBBISH . ON THE FIRST LEVEL YOU HAVE TO DANCE AND TO DO THAT YOU HAVE TO PRESS THE DIRECTIONAL BUTTONS OR THE OTHER BUTTONS . I HAVENT GOT OFF THE FIRST LEVEL YET AND IVE HAD IT FOR 6 DAYS .
