- The best for sure
Having used the DC controller, the XBox controller and the Gamecube controller too I would say that the Gamecube and PS2 controllers are the best the industry has produced. The PS2 version is excellent, is weighted nice and reacts fantastically.
Buy four...heck, buy six if you want (with a couple of multitaps you could buy eight ;-)

This controller is simply the best! It may be tempting to buy a cheaper controller but it will NOT match this for quality or gaming experience. The controller has the same design as the Psx controller which is a good thing but this adds another dimension to the actual experience of this superb console. The buttons are pressure sensitive which means that, for example, if you lightly make contact with the button your character will walk, if you press it, he will jog and if you hold it down fully, he will run. This controller also feels more powerful in the ways of the Dualshock mechanism. It gives a much more powerful jolt and it seems to fill your hand better than the old Psx controller. I have two of these and I would never switch to another controller. If one broke, I would have no hesitation but to go out and buy another one. But hey, this is a Sony product, it has build quality of a Bomb Shelter and if you are looking for a good quality, solid controller then this is the product for you. Go get it NOW!

beautiful controller same as ps1's controller?? are u thinking ..ans = no. they have added adjustments -pressure sensitive buttons- analogue is more grip on top slightly lower i think?-dual shock 2 is more powerfull uses a different source to make the shock-controller more resistant.
the controller is like the missing part of your hands fits beautiful.

Although the Dual Shock 2 looks like a black version it's older PlayStation brother, there are several improvements. The pressure sensitive buttons allow increased precision and the analog sticks feel more tactile. A great controller suitable for all game genres.

This controller is by far and away the best one available for the PS2!! If you need a second controller, then buy this one because all the others (although slightly cheaper) are not in the same league! Fork out the extra cash and get this one!
