- A truly challenging game
If you want an easy stress free game, then don't buy Enclave. If on the other hand you want a game that pushes your gaming skills to new levels, that makes you throw your controller down in disgust only to say in your next breath alright then just one more go, then this is the game for you. Tough as a badgers bottom, frustrating and difficult, but there is a real sense of achievement to be had from each new advance you make.
The game play is imaginative, non repetitive, and exhilarating.
The graphics are superbly detailed, the sound is atmospheric and the character and the weapon choices you make actually make a difference to how the game plays. I have been playing it for over a month now and I am just getting to the end of the Dark Mission.
The only thing that would have made it better - a multiplayer option.

I'VE BEEN PLAYING GAMES FOR AROUND 25 YEARS, ENCLAVE HAS SOME OF THE FINEST GRAPHICS AND COMPULSIVE GAMEPLAY ON ANY GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED, AND I'VE PLAYED THE BEST AND WORST, THAT'S A PROMISE. YES, IT CAN GET DIFFICULT, BUT CHOOSING THE RIGHT CHARACTERS AND WEAPONS IS ALL PART OF THE TACTICS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS MASSIVE ADVENTURE THAT STILL TO MY MIND POSSESSESS THE FINEST AND MOST BEAUTIFUL GRAPHICS ON ANY SYSTEM I'VE COME ACROSS. IT'S SIMPLICITY REALLY DOES HELP THE PLAYER, NO GEEKY STATS OR ATTACK MOVES, JUST GET IN THERE AND HACK AWAY, OR KEEP YOUR DISTANCE AND SNIPE AWAY. EVERYTHING IS SO SMOOTH, CUT SCENES ARE AMAZING AND THEY SUBTLEY KEEP THE PLAYER INFORMED OF EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED WITHIN THE WORLD OF ENCLAVE. YOU CAN PICK THIS UP FOR A TENNER EASILY IN MOST SHOPS AND ON THE NET, AND I GUARANTEE YOU'LL STILL BE PLAYING IN 6 MONTHS, TRYING TO FIND ALL THOSE GOLD COINS TO UNLOCK THE CHARACTERS. DON'T LISTEN TO THE GAMES MAGAZINES OR OTHER SO CALLED GAMES PLAYERS. JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR THIS WINTER BUY THE GAME, SWITCH OFF THE LIGHTS, GET YOUR ARMCHAIR NEAR THE ROARING FIRE AND ENJOY.

I must say that this is most likely the most enjoyable game of this type i have ever played. The graphics are beautiful and really provide the mood, the music is outstanding...especially if you have a good sound card. The controls are very responsive and wont take too long to get to grips with. You get a variety of different classes to play with and each one requires a different playing style (after all, you would not charge into the fray with an archer would you?)
I suggest this game to anyone that enjoys action and adventure!

...The graphics are fantastic, gameplay however, terrible! I'm 15 and i play lots of games but Enclave is among the worst that i have played! Sloppy controls, no save points, indestructable enemies and the worst damage system ever. Please by all means dish out 40 notes if you want to end up breaking your Xbox! Also the storyline was confusing and if a 15yr old can't understand it, what hope do the rest of us Xbox gamers have!!!!! Far too hyped up by magazines. What were Swing smoking when they came up with this!!

Third person actioner with stunning graphics - textures and huge draw distance . You play as a good character v. bad and then when you finish you can be one of the bad guys with some variation in levels . Gameplay is mostly fighting and finding gold . This would not be too bad except it is so repetive and frustrating due to chronic controls which you cannot reconfigure
and no mid level save ( unforgivable in a world with halo ). It's like the game was rushed and never game tested- still it is
very preety although it is a little bugged eg poor motion detection alllows you to kill enemies right through sold walls . Come on Microsoft where are the killer games since Halo !!!!!
