This game has a lot of unlockible characters and also a lot of tracks to race on. All of the charactors has a special item and there is two for each racer. You race againsed 7 other karts so 14 other characters. This innovation which no other game has tryed before which extends why the Gamecube is the best for games because of the innovation which works. This has created a way to play cooperatively in a racing game. All of the tracks in the game are different with different scenery or obsticles and all are so different that if you showed a screenshot you can teel what track it is on. The graphics are great and the sound is very effective as it suits the game. The only bad thing about the game is its one playeer wich is short but set the unbeatible times in time tryal and set your mates the challenge of beating the time. This is where the game is the best- in the multiplayer becuase beating your mates where the games playability is great means you can't blame the game for losing. This game also has the arcade appeal as well and picking the right character 1 and 2 and the kart eack with attributes is great as you will experimant with them for ages.
This game is- if you have mates 10/10

This game rocks! With hundreds of cources to race through and of course try and come first in all of the races. And also try and unlock some new racers. Such as the extreamly cute toad and Toadett!

Ok firstly I need to say that this game is really and I mean really boring with 1 player! but when you shove 3 additional pads into the cube then the fun begins! this game is amazing if you get your friends together! theres nothing like sticking a banana on a ramp and laugh as your friends skid over it off the track, giving you the opportunity to overtake and win! I've had much fun with this game and I would recommend it to everyone! its definatly worth the money! and of course with all mario kart games, you need skill to win! mastering to drive is one thing, but mastering how to skid strafe (turning a corner without hitting the wall) is another!
Buy this game and try a 9 Lap Race at Bowsers Castle with 3 of your friends! you won't regret it!
Once you play this game, You will just come back for more and more! One to recommend!!

With Xmas coming up, I was eagerly awaiting 2 particular games, one of which was Fifa 2004 (i'm a football nut!) also recommended for footie fans, and the other, a certain Double Dash! I was very pleased with one of the games, but it wasn't Double Dash(DD)I have now purchased the item, played it and... one word... WOW! I have never been more addicted to a racing game in my life!!
You have to buy this game now, go on, go!
