Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Yu-Gi-Oh, another level of duel
First of all,
There are certain new rules that you have to adjust to.
If you played forbidden memories, you may get disapointed with the new rules. So forget everything you previously knew about Yu-gi-oh! and start fresh.

There are deck costs, and you can only have a few high attack factor cards in the deck.
so that was a huge downer, i am used to play forbidden memories, and have all the good cards in one deck... without restrictions.

Then you have the summoning points too.
you only have a certain ammount of summonuning points per duel,
so if you play: Red eyes black dragon,
you can only summon low attack cards on the next turn.

However, once you get used to that, it becomes real fun to play.
you start to value all the cards, and not just the high Atk factor cards.
Many cards have special effects. that will come to your advantage.

Graphycs are good, and the new "chess" like environment is fun to play.

Controls are also easy, not complicated atall.

The intro is to long, and you may find your-self falling asleep.
But stay awake, for now you have to choose sides, and offcourse your deck.

After you choose wich side you want to take first, you then get the choice of who you want to duel!
But your deck may not be strong enough to beat anyone.

One of the best things is that you can have three different decks, so you can have three different ways to suit your foes.

you also get a deck leader which you have to protect.
let it vunerable, and you lose!
your leader gets promoted the more you win, so it will unlock special leader abilities, which will also come to your advantage.

Another thing is that each duel will last at least 10 minutes, no more quick wins... and if you lose, you will fell like it was a waste of time.
sometimes you get really rubish cards after the duel, so that may also feel like a waste of time.

Resuming:
Learn your cards well, there are very cheap cards that are better than a blue eyes white dragon, etc...
Good graphycs.
gets fustrating at times.
But it's fun... once you have a really good deck.

If you are a yu-gi-oh fan, get this game.
If not, i would not advise.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - ...Well it deserves some recognition
Before you say anything I am not a Yu-Gi-Oh card freak (sorry fan) and my younger brother bought this for one of my birthdays.

This game does have some historical content and tries very hard to make you think that you have free will by letting you choose at the beginning whether you can be good or evil (With Kaiba or Yugi.)

That aside though, the rules are different to regular duelling. It involves a grid of sqaures where each card is moved like a piece on a chess board and you have to defend your king known as the leader of your deck. I'm used to complex rules in games and once you get to grips with the rules this can be quite a strategic game with advantages being affected by the terrain, monster affects and trap cards.

Yu-Gi-Oh nuts will love this...if you're not though you'll get bored in the end. But then again isn't that the case with everything?

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - yu gi oh reconsider try before you buy
This game is nothing like the tv series at all i think. The graphics of the monsters are good, but the music is repetitive and boring. The game play is attrotious becuase half the time you do not know who or where you are and it is verry slow. It reminds me of dungeon dice monsters as you have to move all the time to launch an attack, and the deck master thing is too complicated.

My avice is RENT THIS GAME BEFORE YOU BUY IT, becuase it is only for DIE HARD FANS. If you are a really really big fan then im sure you wil enjoy it, but on a serious note try before you buy. i bought my copy for 13 pounds and its not worth it.

Also the opponant always have better decks than you and are always drawing the good cards when you are stuck with the crummy ones. I dont get this game at all you can even tribute monsters any more. One more thing the introduction is bout 30-40 mins which you can almost sleep through. I did.

I hope this reeview was helpful.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - YU-GI-OH Duellists of the Roses
Not very good. The duelling rules have changed in almost every way. There are no sounds except the music, and almost every time you go on it, you have to endure speeches and things.
Some parts of the game are good, like choosing your side. Still, here's a warning:
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A great game from Konami !!!!!!!
The best 3D card game I have ever played In my LIFE! Its a classic game and any yu-gi-oh card game lover will adore this game. I have been playing this game for 3 and a half months and its still my favorite. It took me a while to get used to this game but I will tell you one one thing, it was worth it! (I am age ten.)
