- My whole life is ruined, but it's ok, because i have this game
I used to have a life, I had a family, a girlfriend and a job. I got this game. I played on it and wouldn't go off. My girlfriend's left me (it doesn't matter much anyway because she did look like a cross between Haggrid and Napoleon Dynamite, and she smelt like cow dung.) I lost my job and my family would never get in touch with me again.
*NOTE* None of this is true, i just made it all up so it would sound more dramatic.
I cannot get off this game. It's a great, fun and addictive game, not to mention the breath-taking graphics. Oh, and the fact it's multiplayer.
So, if you have a decent graphics card and a broadband connection, play this game, I promise you it will be worth your while.

Honestly the game was well put together and has a good idea behind it. But how people can say they are addicted is a mystery to me.
My mates on the game love it and play it all the time, but for me personally i just think its a bit fairy. It's repetitive and honestly im not going to spend x amount of months working towards lvl 60 or whatever. It's just not worth paying [...] a month to suck so much time from your life.
If you are so-so about all things magic and sorcery etc and are into more serious gaming like Tom clancy's games and FPS's please don't let your friends persuade you into wasting your cash on this game.
So far it's cost me just the game price, which is cheap from Amazon but there is no way they will coax me for [..] a month for this game.
Rating: - Once you get past the "Elves and Orcs" thing, it's the bees-knees
after having played many MMORPGs over the years, I think the best way to get enjoyment out of games of this genre is to get your expectations right. with that in-mind, expect :
(*) Lengthy patch times when you first install - there's obviously going to be a period of time between a CD/DVD being authored and the status of the live game. There WILL be patches to download when you first install - once they're out of the way, then you should really only expect to see patches once a month or so.
(*)Content - World of Warcraft has this in bucket-loads. There are more quests to send your jolly adventurer on than you can think of. There's also the Lore behind the game and some great dungeons to explore and nast bosses to encounter.
(*) Time - or lack of it (depends on how you preceive !). It takes time to level up your character (through gaining XP - experience) usually by completing quests, killing monsters, exploring new worlds. As you reach higher levels, more of the world opens up to you. Expect to lose a large part of your life through this process. You may also find that you're no longer invited to parties and may no longer remember real-life friends - but, hey, who needs real life friends when you have virtual chums online !
To sum up -
an awesome game
a real "time sucker" - seriously reconsider if you have any "life commitments" - you know, children or friends

This game is absoloutly amazing at first it may look expensive but gee it is worth it. Never buy a second hand copy of this game bcause you need an authecation key and each one can only b used once. However what puts people off from this game is when you start you are a lv 1, when you are a lv 1 it is boring but in one hour you can reach lv 6! When you are lv 10 that is when the game really starts up with quests, shops, invaders and much more! You can choose from 8 species and each specie has a certain amount of classes like warrior or hunter. So all in all this game is amazing!!!!!!

If you are thinking about saving a few bucks and buying this game used, don't. You need an authentication key that can only be used once. I don't know why Amazon are allowing people to sell this game used. It's completely useless without a new authentication key.
