- WOW says it all.....
This game is fantastic i was never really into roleplaying games until i met my partner and he introduced me to them now i can't get enough although WOW is extreamly addictive just the fact that you can meet up and do quests with people from all over the world is fantastic the only bad thing i can think of is that some of the low level armour and weapons look a bit pants.

- A beautiful, exciting virtual world
After nearly a year I am enjoying this fantastic game more than ever. There are layers upon layers of complexity and yet the basics are simple and clear, you can spend time happily pottering around in a sun-lit glade looking for obscure plants, slaughter a cave full of Yetis or fight as part of a well drilled, well trained team of explorers through twisting corridors and treasure-filled rooms in a dark, evil castle. And that is just the first hour...
As well as the excellent gameplay, the many absorbing story lines and the delight of an online community, the place is quite beautiful, filled with colour and life and fluttering flags and real-looking lakes full of golden fish and deadly froggy things with sharp teeth.
Makes a hell of a change from the office.

one word to describe this game.............AMAZING. the controls are easy, the gameplay is easy, everyone is friendly apart from the horde players mwhahahahahahahaha point is u have to get this game its brilliant

About the GAME:
-Ok, my brother bought this game in March/April 2006 and he started to play it very often. Then I tried to play it without any info about it, and I enjoyed it a lot. At a certain time it became very addictive, and when my realm was down it was a serious problem because I wanted to play and I couldn't do it due to Blizzards servers updates.
Anyway, I got my rogue to level 50 and a few days ago I started to get bored with the game,really. The quests became boring,very repetitive and so the areas where I used to play. However, this game can get very exciting if you are an item hunter (not my case,really) and want to get that very rare item you heard about.
I heard the new patch is going to allow players to reach level 70 and that's good in my opinion. But reaching level 70 with the same kind of quests? I think that is not a good idea...
About the PEOPLE in the game:
-Ok this is very important in the game, specially in the RP servers.
There is a lot of friendly people in my realm: people that talk about football,about the weather,about politics,about holydays,about real-life. Those are the people with you need to play and need to RP (if you are a fan of the RP gameplay). I still think the best way to play this game is to talk about real-life while you're doing it. It's great to do quests in a party and talk about your country and of what your football team played like in the Champion's League night before.
And there are those guys who look like total "freaks" when they talk about Elune,or greet you in Darnassian or Dwarvish,or those who keep calling/insulting others as "NOOBS" because normal people who play the game to have fun and to take a break from day-life pressures don't know how to behave in a group of five elements. That is definitely the "cancer" of the game.
I hope Blizzard improve World of Warcraft's quests.

Yes, i know. Lots of MMO's around these days, LOTS of them. Well, i have played EVE Online (still playing it actually, character name is Lady Brykor if you want to get in touch) City of Heroes/Villains and each has had something different to offer.
Now, World of Warcraft is something special, something very special indeed. It has wonderful music, effects, graphics, gameplay, a simple but fairly standard UI (highly customisable incidentally) and a good community.
Now, my favourite thing about this game is the fact that it is very open to the casual gamer. The rest system enables this. When you log off you aquire a rest bonus, which allows you to gain XP twice as fast for a period of time depending on how long oyu have been away. So, lets say, you went on holiday for a week, and come back and your friend is 2 levels above you, no problemo! Zoom Zap Kapow and your their, right up with him again. Or her, depending on who your friend is :-)
Since this is an MMO, it is difficult to touch upon the full the extent of the game in any great detail, however, my favourite features are - Combat (excellent effects, spells etc), runs well on older machines, lacks bugs, good dungeons, intuitive quests, excellent secondary skills (herbalism, blacksmithing etc)
I recomend this to men and women of all ages, casual gamer or hardcore 20/7 gamer, it truly has something for everyone.
